What is BioTe and how do I know if it would be beneficial for me?
During BioTE, pellets are inserted into the body in a quick, simple, in-office procedure. These pellets will gradually be absorbed, dispersing hormones throughout the body.
Bioidentical hormone therapy can provide the following benefits:
● Increased energy levels
● Restore or increase sexual drive
● Consistency in moods
● Decreased body fat
● Increased mental clarity and focus
● Greater capacity for getting the body in shape
How often do I get BioTE?
Males may have it done every 6 months, while females can have pellets every 3 months (If only getting testosterone) or 4 months (if getting estrogen).
Does health insurance cover BioTe?
BioTE is not covered by insurance.
How do I get started?
Initially, we need to draw pre-labs to make sure you’re a good candidate for BioTE!
Once that is done and we contact you regarding those lab results, we can understand how to dose you and are able to set your appointment for your procedure.
How fast can I expect results?
After 1-3 days, patients will start feeling the first effects of pellets. Over the next 2-4 weeks, these will increase, and you may start to notice that you lose weight faster, develop a stronger immune system and better memory recall, and that your overall mood increases. The exact results will depend on what types of hormones have been inserted.
